Refund policy
Made-to-Order Policy
All Beurre d'Or pieces are made-to-order and handcrafted especially for you. As such, in accordance with Portuguese law (Decreto-Lei n.º 24/2014) and EU consumer rights regulations, made-to-order items are exempt from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal.
We kindly ask you to review your order carefully before confirming your purchase, including size, metal choice, and product details.
Damaged or Faulty Items
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 7 days of receiving your item if it is defective, damaged, or incorrect. Please reach out to us at hello@beurre-dor.com with:
- Your order number
- A photo of the damage or fault
- A brief description of the issue
We will assess each case individually and offer a repair, replacement, or store credit where appropriate.
Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for returns or refunds:
- Natural tarnishing of sterling silver over time
- Gradual wear of gold vermeil plating due to regular use
- Minor variations in handmade pieces compared to product photos
- Sale items and gift cards
Refunds
If a refund is approved following our assessment, you will be notified by email and refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us at hello@beurre-dor.com.
Legal Guarantee
Under Portuguese Law (Decreto-Lei n.º 84/2021), all products are covered by a 3-year legal guarantee. If you receive a defective product, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund.
